Class notes from Doris Harbour's class on Massachusetts history and government - from the 1940s and 1950s. From Annette Jenks, Setpember, 2011: "Doris Harbour was not only my teacher at Williamstown High School but she later became a friend when she served as an excellent volunteer at the public library. She taught history and mathematics. She was a native of Bennington. During her years of teaching she lived in Williamstown in the apartment building at the bottom of Spring Street that has since been razed to make room for the American Legion building. I would guess that she started teaching at the high school around 1930. I think she also taught at Mt. Greylock for a short time before she retired...She was a very good teacher. She never married."
