Object Name Shot, Bar
Description This is a box of bird shot which consists of small lead balls of various sizes. The shot are in a box titled "Metalic Cartridges" This appears to not to be the origional box or container the shot was stored in. The entire label reads, "50 short No. 30, METALLIC CATRIDGES MANUFACTURED BY THE WINCHESTER REPEATING ARMS CO., NEW HAVEN CONN. U.S.A., STESTONS PATENT OCT 24th 1871" on either side it says "30 SHORT R F".

Donor/Vendor/Information: Grand Army of the Republic used to house its collection on Spring Street. All of the members of the Williamstown Chapter are deceased. Collection was moved from Spring Street to the House of Local History.
