small flax spinning wheel. The base is supported by 3 legs which have a ringing at the bottom. The wheel is supported on the base by 2 turned members. It is connected to the foot pedal, which is attached to 1 front leg & one back leg, by an iron rod & a long slender piece of wood. the spooling mechanism is in tack & removable. The wood is stained walnut color Conditions and Alterations: Good, parts of the spooling are chipped & so are some parts of the wheel References: Drepperd, Carl W.
