Description |
wooden stained clocking reel, hand carved with 3 legs, the bottom piece is a thick board, atop the board rests the mechanics supported by 2 chamfered uprights. The mechanics are all made of wood & are enclosed; the wheel which is in the shape of an X has a chevron pattern where it is joined (conter) & ring bands at the tapered ends. There is a knob attached to one of the spokes. Some sort of measuring device is attached to the left side of the mechanical box. Condition and Alterations: Fair, it is broken on the mechanics box, on the lower left side. The wheel is wobbly at center. The finish is extremely worn, the measuring device on the left side of the mechanic box is broken.
