Description |
(2 of 3) a stained wooden chair, based on the Windsor Fire-House design & or Windsor Captains Chair design. The front 2 legs are tapered at the bottom, & of turned design, as is the front stretcher. The back 2 legs are plain Slant backwards; there are box stretchers. The seat is completely round & the arms are continuous to the back of the chair. There are 10 spindles which are medium in size & machine turned. There is a small comb, in back, containing 5 extremely short spindle-like pieces & a rounded crown piece.
